Jeffrey E. Spoo, M.D. is a graduate of Stanford University and the Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed a Knee Surgery fellowship in Sydney, Australia, then received orthopedic residency training at Boston University Medical Center, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship with the Aspen Foundation for Sports Medicine, Education and Research in Aspen, Colorado. Dr. Spoo is Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as a member of the California Orthopedic Association. He has served as Chairman, Department of Orthopedics at Marian Regional Medical Center. Dr. Spoo and his partners serve as team physicians for Allan Hancock College, Pioneer Valley High, Righetti High, St. Joeseph High, and Santa Maria High. During football season, as team physicians they are on the sidelines at every home game. Dr. Spoo sees patients in our Santa Maria and Pismo Beach offices. He performs surgeries at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria and the Coastal Surgical Institute in Pismo Beach.
