Dr. Imran Gruhonjic is a highly motivated and skilled orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine, currently completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at SSM Health St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City, where he gained comprehensive experience in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions and surgical procedures. Dr. Gruhonjic earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, GA, where he was a distinguished member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Fraternity, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude. Passionate about advancing the field of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Gruhonjic has a strong interest in arthroscopic sports medicine, open shoulder surgery, cartilage restoration and the management of patellar instability. His clinical approach focuses on evidence-based practices, patient-centered care, and optimizing functional outcomes for athletes and active individuals.
