Dr. Stone is a California native. He grew up in Yorba Linda, California where he attended Esperanza High School and played varsity football and track & field. He later attended El Camino College in Torrance, California where he played linebacker and won a California State championship with the Warriors. He then attended UCLA where he majored in Psychobiology and completed his pre-medical coursework. He later attended the University of California, Irvine for medical school, graduating in the top 10% of his medical school class, achieved multiple honors in his course work, and was selected as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. Dr. Stone completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at LAC+USC medical center/Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California. He then completed a clinical fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstructive surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute/Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He has received top research awards in his training programs for his contributions to the field of shoulder and elbow surgery and is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). He is board certified (ABOS) in orthopaedic surgery and currently treats patients in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, California. He lives in Calabasas with his two sons.
