40 years of practicing Anesthesia and the OR still feels like a slice of heaven! Embracing the team approach during every stage of my career always led to leadership responsibilities. Respecting everyone's contribution to patient care and experience seemed to be the key to successful outcomes. Constant rededication to a mission statement, which is paramount to success. Developed my skills by listening to those that mentored me, as well as the younger, smarter professionals of my field. Fortunate to embrace technology throughout my career while always respecting ALL facets of preceding foundations of knowledge. A very blessed career to work with great surgeons: Especially the Adult & Pediatric Cardiac and Orthopedics surgeons. Enjoyed my front row seats as I observed the evolution of Arthroscopic Surgery by some of the most talented hands and minds of surgeons, researchers and manufacturers. What a gift to have worked with the USC Athletic Medicine Department. The dedication by the trainers and doctors to these young athletes and the program was inspiring. Honored to have been able to contribute for 15 years. Still a Trojan Alumnus, Fight On!
