Meet Dr. Darius Moezzi, a seasoned orthopaedic surgeon and a senior partner at Flagstaff Bone & Joint, where he has passionately dedicated his extensive expertise to providing exceptional orthopaedic care to patients in Northern and Central Arizona since 2004. Dr. Moezzi's primary practice focus is on the intricate realm of shoulder and knee surgery, making him the go-to specialist for all your shoulder- or knee-related concerns. With a distinguished background in medicine, Dr. Moezzi earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, followed by comprehensive training in general surgery and orthopaedic surgery at Tufts University and New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. To further hone his skills, he pursued advanced training, including the prestigious San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of California San Diego and a coveted traveling fellowship with the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Moezzi is also an associate master shoulder instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and has taught multiple labs as an instructor at both the OLC Education & Conference Center in Chicago as well as served as faculty at the San Diego Shoulder meeting since 2004. Most recently, Dr. Moezzi has been awarded the prestigious Fellow of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (FAANA) designation. This honor is reserved for leaders who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to arthroscopy, embodying professional excellence and leadership in the medical community. The FAANA credential signifies Dr. Moezzi's outstanding contributions to the field, particularly in enhancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes. Dr. Moezzi's dedication to orthopaedic excellence goes beyond his extensive training. He has been a member of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard team physician pool since 2006, traveling extensively throughout the world to provide local event site care, predominantly for the U.S. Mogul Team.
